Privacy Policy

We, Bidwells LLP, operate this website on behalf of CB1 Estate Management Company, and are committed to protecting your privacy and security. Whenever you provide personal information, we will treat that information in accordance with current UK Data Protection legislation and the EU General Data Protection Regulation which applies from 25th May 2018. We are registered with the Information Commissioners Office for Data Protection – Registration no: Z6940122.

Purposes for which we collect your data

The personal data that we collect will be used for the following purposes:

  • To send you our e-bulletin, if you have signed up to receive it.
  • To provide you with any other important news and updates that we feel you would wish to know.
  • Recording instances of anti-social behaviour. Through the form on the website, reports of anti-social behaviour will be sent directly to the agencies that users identify. The data will also be retained on the website server. This is so there is statistical data on the number of instances being reported. This statistical data can then be referenced at meetings and on the CB1 Community website. Please note: the statistical data will be anonymised so any names and contact details are not shown.
  • To enable our Marketing Department to understand our residents and audience better. They may contact you by post, email or telephone to ask you for feedback and comments, or perhaps complete a survey.

We may also provide your information to carefully selected third parties whose products or services we believe may be of interest to you. You may be contacted by them directly. If you do not wish us to disclose this information, please contact us.

How we protect your information

Bidwells takes the security and privacy of those of its clients and contacts about whom it holds personal information extremely seriously. We follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of personal information given to us in order to prevent unauthorised access. Your data will be held in a secure environment on our website’s server and on that of our chosen Campaign Management Tool, MailChimp. Where data is submitted in the anti-social behaviour reporting form, this is shared according to your preferences (by ticking or not ticking the boxes to share the report and share contact details). If the data is shared with another organisation, we will ensure that their privacy policy conforms with our standards and relevant legislation.

Our legal basis for processing your data

Article 6 of the GDPR gives 6 conditions under which processing of data shall be lawful. Our legal basis is contained within clauses 1(a) and 1(c), namely that you have given consent and we are under a legal obligation to comply. You can view the full legal bases by viewing Article 6 in the GDPR

Your rights

By providing your data you are consenting to us using it and storing it until you tell us otherwise. Your right to withdraw consent is contained in Article 7 of the GDPR. You can withdraw consent by unsubscribing from any email we send you, or you can complete our contact form asking us to delete your data or by emailing us via info@cb1community.org.uk (please ask for a ‘Read receipt’). Your full rights are explained in Chapter III of the GDPR (Articles 12 to 23).
